  23. announced that it has shipped Quantrix 1.0, a multi-dimensional
  24. spreadsheet application, to the object-oriented NEXTSTEP, operating
  25. environment.

  42. Quantrix allows users to describe and manipulate data in terms of
  43. categories, rather than rows and columns. This approach allows
  44. users to write plain English formulas such as "Gross Revenue =
  45. Product Revenue + Service Revenue," rather than "$a27=b17+$c$31."
  46. Coupled with data tabs for fast navigation, unlimited undo and
  47. redo, multiple views and smart cells, Quantrix makes complex
  48. financial models and reports easy to create and share with others.
  49. Quantrix is compatible with Lotus Improv for NeXT and Windows, as
  50. well as ParaSheet, Lighthouse Design's traditional rows and columns
  51. spreadsheet.

  54. interface (API) that supports NEXTSTEP distributed objects (DO),
  55. and provides complete programmatic access to all aspects of the
  56. application. The Quantrix spreadsheet framework is optimized for

  58. required to build and deploy custom financial applications.
